Didn't we hear the same thing at ESB?

I mentioned it, but I'm not sure if they do this. The problem is that you will have to space your brews by 1 to 2 days to do this. Many breweries like to get all the batches for one fermenter done in 1 day. This way you don't have to clean your equipment as often.

I believe that I read about this when taking some on-line brewery tour for a german brewery.

[qote]Hmmm, been trying to talk the Señora into visiting Argentina. I had no idea there was a microbrew culture there. Maybe I should consider a new career track.

Yes, there seem to be lots of microbrew opportunities in Argentinia.

Alan,
how good are the big commercial beers down there?

Well as everywhere industrial beers leads the market. Our nation beer Quilmes which is now belogns to AmBev is a massive multi million corpoation ok beer. Then we have Brahma from Brasil, Bud...of course, Isenbeck...lots.Heineken...
All of them and more own brewerys all around Argentina.
Micro Breweries poped out because of our economics problems. Since most supermarkets couldn´t import beer becuase of 3 to 1 relation to the dolar.....voila!
Most breweries suply local demand but mainly tourism.
