can a batch of cyser be made without using yeast nutrients? I had forgotten to check my supplies and when i opened it was damp looking and smells a bit amonia-ish. I am going to assume it went bad and not use it but am wondering how vital it is to making the mead. i have only used this recipe and have had great success and dont wish to make somethign i plan to throw away in a few months...any help would be great. if i absolutely need it can i pitch it after the fact. i can get to the lhbs tomorrow and pick up some more and pitch it with the yeast tomorrow.
thanks ofr the help
