Maximum Temp sensor RTD cable length?

I was wondering if there is a maximum length on RTD (3 wire) cable that I am using for my temperature sensors. I have a 12 foot cable, but would like to use 25 foot if possible. I can't find information on what the max cable length is. Anyone know? Anyone running 25 foot without problem?

Schneider Electric says the max 2 or 3 wire length is determined by the resistance below 100 ohms. As I don't know of any signal wire with a resistance of 4 ohms per foot I'd say you'll be fine at 25' even using the worst wire in the world

Do you have a reference you can use to double check and verify consistency and accuracy?

Or if you have short can arrange to use one probe with a short cable and 2nd probe with a long cable measure the same thing, you would have your answer pretty quickly.
