The part I didn't like was when they mentioned to "avoid aluminum pots." There is nothing wrong with aluminum kettles, and a magazine like BYO making a statement like this...well, it just doesn't sit right with me. It just perpetuates the urban legend that aluminum gives off flavors to the brew, or that it causes alzheimers, etc.

This article, although seems very good, is 8 years old! Aluminium might have been thought of as much worst then it is today. People use it a lot today where they might have not 8 years ago.
