I am thinking about upgrading my system and building a gravity system to go along with it. I am thinking about going to two 15 gallon kettles but continuing to use a cooler for my tun. My question is how big of a cooler do I need to upgrade to? Would a 60qt cooler work or would it need to be bigger?

Personally, I use a 10 gal. round cooler for a mash tun and make 10 gal. batches of my preferred beers. When I make a strong beer I generally only make 5 gal., as I don't need 10 gal. of barley wine.
