Mash tun help drill holes or cut slits?

Which is better? or will they both do the same thing?

I assume you're talking about the manifold assembly for draining the mash tun, right? You'll find folks here who use both methods. I prefer slits because the'yre easier (for me) to do. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel. Make sure to put plenty of slits or holes to help avoud a stuck sparge.

Ya that seems to be the method I see most often. Thanks for the input.

I used an angle grinder with a Walter Zipcut to cut the slots in mine. Took about 30 seconds.
