I am looking at kettles for my mash tun and boil kettles.

What kettles do you recommend to serve as a mash tun and boil kettles? There are so many choices when it comes to kettles. I don't want to spend over $500 each.

Thanks for the advise!

Take a peak at what we offer. If you have a custom setup in mind we can custom configure the system you have in mind.

It's been since earlier in the year that I looked at your page when I was on a kettle search, so I can't remember, but since you do custom work would you weld tri-clamp ferrules on? I'd LOVE a V3, but I know you guys don't ship to Hawaii.

EDIT: I saw that you guys do!

If you are looking for special features or custom work I think you have found a great source. I am not a customer, yet, so I have nothing to gain from suggesting this Spike Brewing.

Yes, we do weld on 1.5" and 2" TC fittings. Unfortunately shipping these large heavy boxes is extremely expensive so we don't offer outside the US.

We like the "yet" part. We'll be on the look out for your order! :mug:

I have or have had Blichmann, Stout, Polarware and Spike. Of these four for which I can speak, Spike is the way to go. Custom kettles for a good price and short lead time. Stout offers mash tuns with bottom outlets but cost big$$$. Blichmann are weldless which I do not prefer and Polarware, at least the size thaT I need , have too large of a diameter.

I have really been looking at Spike for sometime for both a mash tun and boil kettle. I like the feature sets and price point. Plus I like the fact I can have the pot made like I want.
