Ora anyone know if it is possible or even cost affective to make your own wort chiller? If so, where can I find what parts are needed?

made my own. parts from Home Despot

20' of coiled copper tubing
short water hose
2 hose clamps

i made this when I was using a 16-qt kettle but have since got a 30-qt. when I went to price 50' of tubing, copper had gotten wicked expensive

I was able to make a 50' chiller for the same price as buying a pre made 25' one. All at Home Depot.

50' Copper pipe- I believe 1/4" or 3/8"
10' of clear vinyl tubing cut in half
3 hose clamps
1 Garden hose adapter to attach to faucet
