Ok, so I've wanted for a long time to get a fermentation chamber up and running, and now that I moved to Arizona I pretty much have to in order to keep homebrewing.

So, here is my dilema. I recently came into a fridge that was built in 2005, from a friend that just gave it to me. The model number is ET1CHMXKT03. Many a brew will be flowing his way! Anyways, its a standard fridge with freezer on top.

What I want do to is mod it to allow both freezer and fridge to operate independantly (I want ice and beer glasses on top and fermenting beer/keg setup on bottom). I know there are a few controllers out there that will only do one of two things: get installed in line where it will cut power off to the entire fridge when the temp gets below a threshold or do the above and turn on a heater when the temp drops below a set point.

Are there any controllers out there that will do what I want? I am pretty handy electrical wise, I just need a schematic and go. And any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Fridge temp is regulated by moving cold air from freezer into fridge compartment. If you can get to the circuit that controls the vent and control it with a temp controller, that should work.

no idea on schematic
