My first brew was with extract, an amber ale and it went really well. Tastes great, just had a bit of chill haze when I first started drinking it at 2 weeks in bottle. It just got to 3 weeks on thursday, and I put 9 bottles in the fridge this morning, I picked one out a few minutes ago and its clear as day! Not complaining at all, has anyone experienced this before?

Yep, longer in the bottle the clearer it usually gets. I had a kolsch that I started drinking at 3 weeks in the bottle, and by the time I finished the last ones at about 2 months, they were really clear.

Yeah, bottling can loosely be thought of as a stage 3 fermenter: it continues to clear and mature for weeks after the cap is sealed.

Does the same go for keggin? I would assume it does. I have had beers come out extremely clear after a few weeks in the keg.

nothing escapes gravity......not even the stuff that's is making your beer hazy. If you let it sit long enough undisturbed, it will eventually clear up.

makes sense, although after it had sat in the fridge it ended up getting a bit hazier, but still not as bad as it was

search for 'chill haze'. its fairly common, especially as you're learning to brew.
