I bought a Magic Chef 4.4 cubic ft. freezerless mini fridge from Home Depot for $170 and converted to a kegerator.

I opted for a 3 gallon corny so there was no mutilation required. I figure I'll keg 3 gallons and bottle 2.5 gallons each batch.
There's an original tangerine IPA in there right now. And some Sierra Nevada sidebars for er.. um.. research.

I was able to use a 2 inch hole saw attachment on my drill ... right through the top with no lines or electric to worry about.

Using the 3 gallon corny also let's me use the shelf for hops, yeast and er ... um ... research.

I spent a lot of time worrying about building this thing and it was like nothing. I highly recommend it.
