My first brew has been sitting for just about two weeks in the bottle. I've been drinking them and they have been getting more carbonated as the days go by. The have a good head to them and leave a nice belgian lace on the glass and the retain the head. Thing is the fluid doesn't seem to hold the carbonation well? I did add a bit of water to the carboy which now I realize was a bad idea. Could this watered down brew be the culprit to the low C02. Otherwise it tastes great!!!

I doubt adding water has anything to do with it...it's just taking it's time. In another week you'll probably be plenty happy with it...I think you know what you're supposed to do in the meantime.
