low ABV yeast

Has anyone tried Wyeast 2112 California Lager yeast in a cider. It is supposed to top out at 9%, which could make it easy to make a sweet cider.

If you add enough sugar.

Thats the idea. Start with a SG that would go to about 10%, and hope for residual sweetness.
