I'm setting up a new keezer, and I'm having issues with my love controller.

I understand how to program it, but I'm having trouble keeping a tight temperature range. My temp is fluctuating between 34.9 and 39.2 and my SP1 is set at 38.0 with an r1 of 1.0.

I'm using a glass of water to measure the temp, and want to get it right before I actually put beer in my keezer.

What are your parameters set at and what are your temperature fluctuations?

Thanks!!

Fatty

I tend to think that some of your issues are due to the low thermal load in the freezer.

What I would recommend for you to do, is if you have spare kegs, fill them up with water, put them in, and give them a day or two to equalize in temperature, and then see if you get the same temperature swings.

If you don't have spare kegs, try some buckets filled with water.

Also, using water may not be a good long term solution. What I use in both chambers of my walk-in cooler is a white labs vial filled with ice pack gel, and put the temperature probe in that along one of the walls.
