....it's me.

My new hero, the cable installer, finally got me all hooked up a couple hours ago.

Ft Hood is OK. I have a beautiful view of the chow hall, and the gym from my room. Been working quite a bit, and am on standby until midnight tonight.

On base they have Fat Tire and SNPA, plus all the requisite BMC swill. I plan to seek out a decent beer store pretty quick.

Besides King Mullett changing his username, did I miss much?

Sam, when you can ...take a road trip to Austin and go to Central Market and check out their Beer aisle. You'll be amazed!

How long are you there for? I go once a month to a shooting range on 183 near Killeen and there are always soilders there shooting. Probably go in a couple weeks again. Can you "borrow" guns and take them off base? :D
