Im sure there is a joke of some sort in this thread title by the way...:)

So i had a hell of a time with my first All grain batch. Missed my starting Gravity by 20 points. In an effort to salvage it, I added (PURE) maple syrup and 1 lb of xl DME. I racked to a secondary today, and noticed there were small yellow balls or dots on the sides of my rimary bucked, and a few even made it into secondary.

is this just yeast that never dissolved? I rehydrated before pitching. Is this something worse than that???

Looks normal to me. There is always a bunch of junk that clings to the top of the fermenter. Mosty yeast, insoluble protiens and hop resins.
