In the next few days I'm going to toss together my first stout. I want it to be good but I really have limited homebrew supplies where I am.
The only yeast I have available for beer besides for the coopers is a pack of Danstar Nottingham Ale yeast.

I have two 500g packs of Muntons Dark DME, 1 500g of Spangols Gold Light DME and 1 500g of Spangols Amber DME and about 10lbs of Dextrose.

I just want to amp up the kit without buggering it up, drying it out or making it flavorless.

You could add one pack of the Munton's dark DME & reduce the Cooper's can recipe volume to 19L, or 5.016 USG.
