Light lagers make up 85 percent of beer sold In America leaving 15 percent of actual good beer sold. So what makes you brew?
Mostly I brew because I think American commercial lagers simply suck.
You might be buying the wrong ones then. I suppose it's hard to get Victory or Oskar Blues in Arkansas, but please don't assume that Americans can't make good beer of any style.
Back on topic, I brew because I like the challenge of making my own stuff.
