A couple years ago, an El Cat proxy sent me one of those Capricho Oscuro beers (it might have been B4; bottle date was 2009?) as an extra. Old beer is cool so I chilled that and nonchalantly opened it one night on the couch and... it gushed. I mean, it SPRAYED. And sprayed. And sprayed. And by the time I got it to a sink, it was still spraying. And it continued to do so. And then- finally, it stopped spraying. And then I had roughly 2 oz of beer left. It was not good.

I had a batch five back in 2013 and that was one of the best CC beers I've ever had. Right up there with things like the OG Leon and the cognac sweet stout.A couple years ago, an El Cat proxy sent me one of those Capricho Oscuro beers (it might have been B4; bottle date was 2009?) as an extra. Yeah, one of CCB's best IMO. I had the infamous quintuple wax-dipped bottle.I had a batch five back in 2013 and that was one of the best CC beers I've ever had. Right up there with things like the OG Leon and the cognac sweet stout.
i still have a bottle of this! wonder what that guy is tasting about now. i agree it was super deliciousThe first batch of Wanderer was in-demand. And delicious. Possibly my favorite Bruery beer.
Edit:
Oh ****, And Oui Oui! That one was great.
SOS has never been as good as when Sean was making it. When they scaled up for contract it dropped in quality
I did a vert a couple years ago of 2011, 13, and 16. All were delicious, but 2011 tasted very different. Not sure if was the age or recipe, but the old ale was way more prominent.i still have a bottle of this! wonder what that guy is tasting about now. i agree it was super delicious
