leaking pressure relief valve

How do I stop a pressure relief valve from leaking? I replaced my old one, and it did help, but its still very touchy, and I have to mess around with it quite a bit to get to stop leaking. Is there any secret to getting this to seal right the first time?

Is it the threads or the gasket. Try some lube on both. Vaseline works too.
