- Tasting Notes
- Good bitterness from the columbus, lots of pine and citrus from the simcoe and city.
13 lbs 2 row
12 oz Munich
4 oz Caramunich
0.75 oz Columbus (15.2%) 60 min
1 oz Columbus (15.2%) 15 min
1 oz Simcoe (13.7%) 15 min
1 oz Citra (14.1%) 10 min
Hop stand
After 60 minute boil, drop heat to around 180 degrees and steep for 30 minutes
1 oz Citra (14.1%)
1 oz Columbus (15.2%)
1 oz Simcoe (13.7%)
Dry Hop (7 days)
1 oz Citra (14.1%)
1 oz Columbus (15.2%)
Huge aroma from the hop stand. You don't really need to dry hop with much more than the 2 oz. This is a great IPA and could maybe benefit from another pound or two of 2 row or some dextrose to boost the ABV.
