So I am brewing my second batch, a Brown Ale, and the Krausen on the brew has already fallen (4 days). I took a quick peek, which I know I am not suppose to do, and its pretty much all gone and it was only about 1 inch thick.
The only reason I ask is because my first back, a spiced ale, had its Krausen for over two weeks.
I used White Labs British ale 005 for the brown ale if that matters.
I figure its fine, im not worried about it, just really wondering if its common for the krausen to disappear in less then a week.
