So I have a huge layer of krausen on my latest IPA... I tossed my dry hop pellets on top... they should settle in and do the job, right? OG 1.084 been fermenting 10 days... added 1 oz each of centennial and columbus.
 
You could give them a gentle stir with the back end of a long plastic brew spoon to submerge them. Now CO2 will come out of solution (degassing) as you do this, so again, just stir slowly. Don't beat air into the beer, oxidation is bad-d-d.
 
I just swirl the fermenter itself. I don’t like
Sticking things in the wort once I got it in the fermenter.
