Hello!
I'm wanting to experiment and try making a fun summer beer. I've done as much research as I can but I seem to be coming up with nil.
I've read about Kool-Aid being used as a flavoring agent and/or utilized during secondary/bottling but I haven't seen anything in regards to boiling the Kool-Aid with the extract and hops and having it in there for primary fermentation.
To clarify, I'm not using sweetened Kool-Aid. I will be using the unsweetened packets. Has anyone tried this? I know primary fermentation offers a different flavor profile which seems to be on the subtle side and I'm not trying to blast the beer (which will be a blonde ale) with overpowering flavor.
Thank you for your help!
