How long I should be leaving flavorings in contact with kombucha for?

I split my first batch 3 ways last night.

0.2 oz of hops?
1 Passion Tea bag?
1 sliced up green tart apple?

all in individual 18-20oz mason jars. I did bottle the remaining straight with no changes too.

Thanks

For the hops and the tea, I would say a week.

Maybe longer for the apple, but check it at a week and see how it tastes.

Thanks BGBC. The tea changed the color in 2 hours and it just made me second guess how long things might take.

Any other additions that go well you do not get in a store?

Still a bit of a noob when it comes to kombucha myself, but I've flavored two batches, both with fruit, and for those I only left them 2 days at room temp. One was peach and the other was a mixed berry, and they both came out really, really well.

Playing around with different hops was fun. A personal favorite was cherry lime - I used ~10 sweet cherries and a few Tbsp of lime juice per quart jar.

Ginger pineapple was also good. Grated ginger and cut fresh pineapple.
