Does anyone have experience with this unit?

http://www.klarstein.com/Kuechenger...elstahl.html?listtype=search&searchparam=bier

The page is in german, but the text contains very little information in any case. The unit looks like a grainfather copy, but price is less than half of grainfather.

I have been able to find info on the klarstein boiler (and similar units) but not this one, which includes a pump and other features (apparently a cooling coil too? though this is not illustrated on the page).

thanks!

edit: looks like it's one of these

has anyone used one of these?

edit: it's also marketed as an 'ace micro brewery'. Here's a youtube video:

Looks pretty cool but I'm gonna let someone else pull the trigger on that first ;)

A few guys from NL have bought it, there's some discussion on our Dutch homebrew forums. They have had a few problems with incomplete deliveries (they forgot the chiller) and cheap construction/faulty units. They say (online) costumer service is excellent.

Same exprience in Norway. A lot of them on the market. The only realy bad component is the lifting "hank" on the grain-basket" - not stiff enough.

This is more or less a copy of the GF, not to bad quality, but still a copy.
But then again - they are realy cheap.

On Alibaba, they are offered @ aprox 200 USD for one unit. Less if you buy more.

The company who makes them are big on water heaters.

check out alibaba and do a search for: 30L BEER MASH TUN / BEER MASH TUN 30L / MASH LAUTER TUN

thanks! Found it locally as well. Anyone has some experience with it? Worth it?
I wanted an upgrade and was thinking about electric pot with stirer and normal filtration or just buy this klarstein electric all in one pot? What do you think? As I see on the web the efficiency of this all in one is not quite good? Compared to normal traditional mashing in cooler or to what is my second option - 27L electric heater with stirer and filtration spring.
