Cowboy or Diablo lump in a pinch. I get a really good deal on it where I get my animal feed.
Most of the time raw mesquite, sometimes with palo verde or ironwood thrown in. Living out in the desert has its benefits
AWESOME!!!!!! But desert is not the only raw wood paradise.
We have oak, apple, pear, etc a plenty. I like Cowboy lumps for hot grilling, not consistent enough for smoking or slow roasting (same with raw bits)
Stubbs surprised me with much ash, but far less than Kisgsford.
Kingsford = white zin, marlborough, budweiser, etc,..
Stubbs = Cabernet, real cigars, Stone Ipa, etc,..
Raw Wood= wild horse pinot, Home grown fire cured tobacco, Stone Vertical epic 080808, etc,...
(all stone used in the last 2 so as not to snub them)
