Ok I know what you are thinking not another keggle thread. I searched and read tons of threads. I just want to make sure I don't miss something. Please proof my keggle connection list for a herms type system. I plan on using the BCS to control it. Thanks!!!

HLT:
Herms In - 1/2" full coupler - middle of keg
Herms Out - 1/2" full coupler - low on keg
Sight Glass - 1/2" half coupler - low on keg
Water In - 1/2" full coupler - top of keg
Valve Out - 1/2" full coupler - low on keg
Temperature - 1/2" half coupler - middle of keg

MT:
Valve Out - 1/2" full coupler - low on keg
Recirculate In - 1/2" full coupler - top of keg
Temperature - 1/2" half coupler - middle of keg

BK:
Wort In - 1/2" full coupler - top of keg
Valve Out - 1/2" full coupler - low on keg
Temperature - 1/2" half coupler - middle of keg
Sight Glass - 1/2" half coupler - low on keg

take a look at this.. all silver brazed. no couplers. scroll the album

I would put 3/4 couplers on your BK outlets and HLT drain if you get a bigger pump you'll want them

885 gallons per min at 15' of head???? I think your numbers are off. That should read "GPH".

Given the lack of responses I am going to assume that everyone is tired of keggle threads or that I haven't missed anything important. I'm going to order couplers this afternoon, if I did miss something or need to change something please speak up. Your help is greatly appreciated!!

Some comments.

I really don't see a need for a water in port on the HLT. You can fill it through the drain or just fill it over the top.

Is the wort in on the BK for a recirculation purpose or just to fill it from the MLT runoff. If it's the latter, you can do it into the drain port.

I like smaller connections for sight glasses. 1/4" NPT works great.

Thanks Pickles. Bobby, I was planning on a whirlpool in the BK before chilling to seperate any trub from the wort. Is that a bad idea?? I will also change to 1/4" for sight glass. Thanks!!!
