Kegerator

I made a kegerator today using a mini fridge and a cold plate works awesome just curious on any pros or cons to this setup only a part time setup as I have a chest freezer I'n process but that is costing a pretty penny so far

The only con is that most mini fridges will only have room for one corny.

what is a cold plate ...is that one of those things that have a bunch of electronics and no refrigerant/compressor?

do those things actually get cold enough to cool one or two kegs to the right temp?
