Hey All,

So I finally started my kegerator build. See the attached pictures.... I started with a fridge I picked up on craigslist for $150. I decided to go for a Top Freezer style so my wife and I can use the freezer for extra storage. The rest of the parts came from all over the place, but the bulk of it came from KegConnection. I got it during their Black Friday deal. It is a completely custom kit that Todd and I put together. Everything is working although there is a slight rattle in one of the secondary regulators (sounds like a screw tumbling inside of a pipe).

Specs:
  • #20 CO2
  • 3 Body Taprite Primary High Pressure Regulator (2 x 0-60 PSI and 1 x 0-160 PSI) w/ Check Valves and Shutoffs
  • 4 Body Taprite Secondary Low Pressure Regulator w/ Check Valves and Shutoffs
  • 8 Pin Lock Kegs Converted to Ball Locks (Saves 2.5")
  • 4 Perlick 575SS Faucets
  • 4 Hole Stainless Drip Tray w/ Drain
  • 4 Stainless Steel Shanks w/ Stainless Rings (the thing around the faucet)

All of the gas lines were run through 4" MFL bulkheads and all connections are MFL + Oetikers.

I think that basically covers it. Any questions?

One of my bulkheads had a little problem and was slightly too short (hence why there are only four lines). I am solving that as we speak.

Oh... also... for safety the CO2 Cylinder is bolted to the fridge with a lab grade stainless steel bracket.

One other note... it may look like the drip tray was mounted at an angle in the pictures. In reality it is actually level to the ground. The fridge is slanted so the door closes correctly... It looks a little odd, but it works great.

Any idea of the amount of your investment? How much did all the components in your third photo cost?

Looks like a sweet setup.

Uh... too much. :rockin: ... look at kegconnections all stainless 4 keg kit... then add some regulators.

It looks like you drilled a piss-ton of holes in the fridge for the regulators. Would it have been more economic to mount the regulators inside the fridge and only have to deal with one CO2 hole? Your drain hose looks cool, where does it lead?

Economic... yes. In reality its only three extra holes. The major plus is being able to adjust things without sticking my head in the fridge. Also space in the fridge is kind of tight with the 4 kegs. See attached for an internal shot (only one keg currently)

Looks great dude. Seems like there is only 1 beer on tap though. Time to get to work. Having 4 taps must be nice. I only have 2 going and sometimes I think it would be nice to have more of a variety at any given time. Looks like you have it in the garage, you gotta find a way to get it in the house so the distance to travel for refills is much less.

Looks nice! I'm almost finished with my keezer build and I have been trying to decide how far below my faucets I should attach my drip tray. I like the looks of your drip tray, could you tell me how many inches it is from the center of the shank holes to the top of the tray?

Thanks!
