Bought a brand new regulator setup from keg cowboy and hooked it up. I set the pressure to 10-12 psi and after a few hours the pressure will creep to 50psi or more. The longer it sits the higher it climbs. What am i doing wrong here.

Are these regulators rebuildable? I used to work in the scuba industry, and rebuilding a regulator is something i did all the time. pretty much a few o-rings and a high pressure seat that needs replacing. Pull the thing apart, clean it up, new o-rings and seat and lube it up as you put it back together.
