I have a quick question. how important is it to sanitize the new beer lines and connectors? I forgot to sanitize the last 2 lines that I put in service on new corneys and I'm wondering what will happen.
Noob? Yeah.

Maybe I should have, but I never bothered to run actual sanitizer through the six lines and faucets on my keezer when I built it. I just ran enough fresh water through them to flush out any random manufacturing debris, and started hooking up kegs.

So, with a single empirical measurement to base it on, I say "not important"...

Cheers! ;)

I've run hot water through mine as well as some oxyclean between changing from 1 keg to the next.

If your beer is sitting in your glass long enough to grow noticeable levels of bacteria in your beer after dispensing it from a not completely sanitized beer line, then you drink beer way too slowly.
