OK so I wanted this auction becase I needed another keg and this came with 5 ball lock air disconnects, which I also needed.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250682972710&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

So it's $50 for a keg here locally and pretty much if I buy only on online with shipping. It's $6 + shipping for disconnects each or so. If the hoses are good that's $10 or so. Looks like the hoses and disconnects have MFL fittings which would be a plus.

So that's about $90 I paid $98 for everything so the x-factor is the dual gauge regulator. There also seems to be some sort of air splitter/manifold below the gauge in the pic, hard to see though, makes sense if there are 5 disconnects attached to it.

I believe the regulator is a Secondary Regulator - 2 Way, ones that look like it are $80 -$100 on a couple of the home brew sites. http://morebeer.com/view_product/16194/102237/Secondary_Regulator_-_2_Way
This allows me to carb/dispense multiple kegs at different PSI's right?

So with the regulator and the manifold did I do OK? I paid more than I wanted but I got caught up in a little bidding war so I am trying to feel better about it ;)

not a bad deal then at all, i would like to get a secondary or two myself. right now i have a heff on tap and have to carb it at 14lbs because i also have a stout on tap. would love throw a little more carb to my heff.

Nothing wrong with that deal at all, if kegs are that much where you are.

You can get the secondary regs for $20 each at ChiCompany - And the QD's should cost $5-6 each, depending where you get them. That's $65 without shipping just for the regs and QDs. If a keg costs you $50 locally you're up to $115.

You didn't get hurt :mug:

I would trash the hoses though... In my experience they were usually used for soda, and contaminated beyond repair. But hose is cheap ;)

On second thought...

They are on the regulator - Shouldn't have had anything but gas through them! :ban:
