So my wife bought me a dual tap kegerator conversion kit (TapRite) that comes with the draft tower. Unfortunately, I don't have the height clearance to put it into an existing cabinet, I was hoping to run the tap faucets through the side of the cabinet. Would I be able to eliminate the draft tower with the kit I have (http://www.kegerator.com/taprite-ke...on-kit-dual-tap-configuration/DK30CPSS02.html) or would I need to send it back & order a door mount kit similar to this one (http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/kits/dkk2.shtml) ?

Thanks all!

I would steer clear of a Kegco regulator and go with a Tapright regulator.

The faucet shanks for the tower are going to be too short for through-the-wall use. Plus the escutcheons/flanges fit the round column in that tower kit, while the flanges in the through-wall kit are flat.

So if you're actually going to eat the tower, you'll still need to replace the shanks and flanges. A losing proposition for sure.

If the kit is intact, eat the shipping and exchange it...

Cheers!
