Finished my fourth batch it was a basic pale ale. It stinks but tast good what could cause this? I used the same steps as the first three but on this one I add the extract at the end say with like 20 mins left in the boil instead of the beginning. I read of other people doing this on this forum with no problem. Is it possible the ingrediants just wern't as fresh as the last ones. I use the same place for ingredients all 4 times. Rebel brewing. Heard good things about them on here plus they are closest to my house to reduce shipping times.

What hops did you use? Is this just an aroma issue? What hops were added when?:tank:

Adding extract late won't cause a problem in aroma. How long has the beer been conditioning? I'd suggest waiting a week and tasting it again.
