Just curious

When I first started brewing, I spent anywhere from $30-$50 per 5 gallon batch. Looking back I find that insane. If you can buy anything in bulk, do so. You can get hops in 4oz packs, 1# packs, etc. This cuts down on cost a lot. If you brewed all-grain and bought your grain in bulk, you can save a ton of money. Rinse your yeast after taking your beer off primary and you'll save a ton there as well. My last 5gal batch I brewed cost me $8.75.

I like the sound of that,im gonna try to go all grain by the end of summer,i was curious cause I just picked up ingredients for two.5g batches for $54 that also included a pound of dme for starters

$30 - $50 is about the range. My $3000 all grain set-up hasn't paid for itself yet. That will take another 50 batches....I save ~$30 to $40 per brew day. Buy my hops by the pound, buy my dry yeast on sale online, buy base malts by the bag. That leaves just the speciality malts to buy and some of those I have in bulk as well.

$23 - $40. I do partial mashes and reuse yeast. Also, I don't like ultra-hoppy beers, so that saves money

I buy only premade kits, no extras or swap outs. The cheapest one was $26, the most expensive $52. I also would love to get my brew cost down, but for now is still saves me money. Last month, I got a 4 pack of Saison du Buff from DFH, and it cost like $12.

I use dry yeast if at all possible. That's less than $2 for a 11g packet. 2 bucks is worth not having to deal with washing yeast...but that's just me.

My average brew runs $35. That's with yeast, hops, specialty grains, and LME/DME
