Jt paintball co2

Ran out of 10 gram co2 cartridges but I found a mod to use 12 gram cartridges. I bought a package of jt paintball co2 cartridges at walmart and went to install one on my beer machine keg. The cartridge didn't seal well and all of the co2 leaked out ( and froze) except for a small amount that went in the keg. The co2 had an odor didn't feel oily. Is my beer ok or should I dump it? Is odor from a co2 cartridge normal?

its probably ok. you will spend a fortune in 12 grams. look on craigslist for a 5lb or larger co2 and reg. you will thank me later.
