I just started home brewing. Things are starting to relax a little bit in my area and people are starting to visit again. I've had a few visitors recently. Each time it has been pretty awkward at first. Everyone is excited to try my brew, and I am excited to share it. It's a great icebreaker. After one or two homebrews we all loosen up and it's like the before time. I love seeing my visitors out reflecting their smiles and good feelings.

Nice! I bought the Papazian book at Powell's in Portland a couple years back and only recently read it from cover to cover. Been doing BIAB and my next brew is going to be a proper all grain batch (Good Life Pale Ale from the book).

So far it's a fun hobby that is simultaneously easier than I expected and also has so much room for experience to improve things that I can tell I'll be doing it for awhile :)
