Hey, has anyone ever tried to use a immersion chiller as a make shift coil for a jockey box. Maybe have the ends able to switch out from the hose connector to a picnic tap and vice versa so it could be dual purposes?

Just a thought

Cheers!

Ive used the immersion chiller the opposite way, having it in an ice bath and running hot wort through it to chill it down. Worked great! So yes certainly possible!

Ok thanks that’s a great idea, did you use a pump to push the wort or was gravity enough to work it?

I haven't, but...now I'm wondering how well a jockey box would work as a wort chiller. Fill jockey box with ice water, pump wort through jockey box SS coil to chill. I probably won't try it, but it's an interesting thought.
