Holy **** man.... I guess my Sunday trip might have to get cancelled. I just wanted to drink the damn beer.... Will they even have pours left on Sunday I wonder.... Why they don't do the reserve system is beyond me.... I really enjoyed knowing I could drive down there worry free.

They said on facebook they expected tap atrial to last at least partly through saturday. That was before they sold 1500 bottles yesterday though.

Oh wow.... So it won't even survive on tap...

I drove all the way out there and got in line at about 11:15. After realizing I'd be in the heat for 2.5-3.5 hours for 2 bottles, I turned around and left. Had dental surgery yesterday so it might have been different if I could drink in line.

Got in line about same time. Had bottles by about 1:15. Their credit card reader was giving thme problems all day. I think that's what slowed it down.

They need to get a real POS system. We pay ~$5000/year for MICROS yearly where I work and we almost never have issues. I think JK is on the level where they can afford a system that serious restaurants/bars use.

SARA does well with Square.

Russian River is the worst at POS for bottle releases.

It's 2.75% and there's certainly a better choice of words than "rape". Clean it up.
******** financially?

Square ain't bad for small businesses... I don't know what accounting system they use, but it integrates with Quickbooks.

Only thing is with on-premises beer you need some specialed tax equations at sale that become a pain without a specialized restaurant POS. (8.25% tax on the customer side, 3.7% local tax on overall liquor sales (that needs to be accounted for with every transaction).

Jester King said cash only tent, and more iPads to solve the line. Ask [bitch continously] and ye shall receive

i can't wait till the bottles run out as the cash line wraps up and the people in the credit line are left high and dry.

cash only. $20 per bottle. pay in 20's, get change in 20's. the extra $4 can go towards the "buy a real pos" fund.

JK can charge what they want, but I feel $16 is fair and anything more is delving into a realm that I may not be willing to pay, though others will. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
