hello all,
figured I'd introduce myself; I'm 25 with a EE major from VT and I've been brewing beer for almost 6 months now and have at least a dozen 5 gallon batches literally above my belt; I've been researching beer pretty extensively these past few weeks and most of the time I end up on this forum. You guys have a wealth of information on hand and I might as well join up and say thanks for the info.
All my brews are currently extract and they've been pretty darn good--at least a lot better since my first batch (which was actually pretty good!) I've been building quite the brewing setup, particularly in just the last two months; Kal will be to blame when I build his theelectricbrewery.com setup... which started a week ago; but I've no plans to finish the whole grain setup for at least a year (time/money/...SWMBO!).
um, what I have on tap:
Cider
Brains clone
Brains clone on oak
and, fermentor:
Belgium
Harp Lager clone
...and I'll be moving back to stouts with my next couple of batches next week.
figured I'd say hi and thanks for now,
JD
P.S.
Brewing is Awesome
