I doubt anyone will of heard of this or get chance to drink it. It's a medium sized regional brewery, not a micro but now where the size of the big commercials.

I think I'm becoming a beer snob.
I won't drink tapped kegged beer because it's crap (There may be the odd exception) . I don't see the point of drinking bad beer that cost's a fortune when I can do without and have a good beer at home. I won't go to the local pubs but there's an hotel 200yds away that has 2 guest keg beers on so I go there. My place of choice is 3 miles away so I often call in there for 2 halves. They are a free house and always have 6 cask beers on and rarely repeat.

Yesterday some one asked my if I wanted to call for a quick pint so I said yes but if the pub has no hand pumps then I'll walk out and find another one. Has it happens the had Cask Holt's.

What a disappointment. It was watery, no body and not a lot of taste. It was cheap at £1.58 ($3.30ish)but it was a waste of money. No real distinction to dish water in my opinion.

If I'd of known I'd of tried one of the Bottle Holts instead.
