Beginning to roast my 1 lb of hulled millet after experimenting w/1 oz last week. Wish me luck not burning it to "toast". LOL :cross:

Went pretty well. Did not "burn" the grain. My problem is I don't have an over. Yup just me and SWMBO and both over 70 so what do we need an oven for? Last time we had the kitchen done we left it out and went for more storage and counter space. Soooooo....

I used the small toaster oven and can only fit about 6 oz of millet one grain thick on the tray. Used this pattern :
30 min @ 200
30 min @ 300
30 min @ 350 X 3 rounds.

I did this 3 times for each of the 6 oz batches. Lucky only makeing 2 gallon batches and not 5 gallon or AG. LOL
