Lookin good man. Where'd you find the Amarillo, I have not been able to get my hands on any.
I got lucky as Hops Direct told my supplier when he placed his order last week that Amarillo wouldn't be shipping til the end of the month. But they were in this shipment so I was happy. I do know that AustinHomeBrew has some Amarillo pellets, FresHops has some Amarillo as well.
After I got my order I started doing some more checking and my god have hop prices went thru the roof. Hops Direct is now charging $13.50/lb for Cascade plus shipping. FresHops is charging $16/lb plus shipping.
I read about the hop price increase earlier this month hence the reason for such a large order. The goal is for these to last me the next year or so.

Do you know why I pulled you over son? Littering and... littering and... littering and smokin' the reefer.
So are you selling hops Meow? 52cents an ounce is a good price meow, with the price of hops going up and all........
Chicken F*cker!
Cheers
Do I look like a cat to you? Do you see me jumpin' around all nimbly bimbly from tree to tree?
Yeah as I mentioned above hop prices have gotten way out of hand. I've heard that grain prices are going up as well, so I just placed an order that should keep me well covered for the next 9-12 months.

Word. Great price indeed, especially given how much Puterbaugh overstuffs those bags. A pound of hops ordered is typically 1.75 pounds of hops shipped. I recently ordered a total of 3 lbs from them and got 5 lbs in the mail. I just gotta foodsave it all this weekend.
I've been happy with my previous order from them, (as if you couldn't tell from my last Hop thread). So far I've been averaging about 1.5lbs per 1lb order except for the couple that were 2lbs.
If you need foodsaver bags check Kohl's they have both brands on sale. I picked up 3-18'x11" rolls for $29.99 minus 20% coupon.

Beautiful... I"ve got 3 lbs from them in my fridge at the moment (although, as previously noted, it's actually closer to 4 lbs.... awesome).

Are Foodsave or Seal-a-meal bags oxygen impermeable? I was under the impression for some reason that they were only moderate oxygen barriers.
Hell I still have 1-1.5lbs from my last order in the freezer, but with hop prices costing more than crack I figured I'd stock up.
I'm not 100% sure how oxygen impermeable they are, but Rival (maker of the Seal-a-meal) stated that you can keep chicken in the freezer for 2-3years, so that should be good enough for my hops.
In the past I've had some bags that didn't seal properly so now I double seal both ends and haven't had any issues as far as leaks go.
I have also noticed that on eBay they sell 4 & 5mil bags, yet I haven't been able to find out the thickness of the Seal-a-meal/Foodsaver bags.
