Is this an infection

Brewers,

Does this look like an infection or anything I should worry about? It's strong ale that's been in my primary for 13 days (first 5 gallon batch).

I tasted some and it was real boozy to say the least. My question is should I bottle today (one day early) to limit any further contamination or hold out another 24 hrs?

No! It's just leftover krausen & yeast floaters. Take a hydrometer sample 2-3 days apart to make sure it's done fermenting. Then, when it's settled out clear or slightly misty, bottle it up.

Looks good to me. Residual yeast rafts and some bubbling from residual CO2. No problem.

For the record, if it's infected, there are already going to be billions of bacterial cells present. Bottling would not change that. If the gravity has been stable over several days and it's properly conditioned (no acetaldehyde, no diacetyl, etc), there's no reason not to bottle it. But if the gravity is NOT stable, then don't bottle it or you're asking for problems (up to and including bottle bombs). But assuming stable and conditioned, let it age in the bottle and hopefully the booziness will mellow.
