3 days ago i started my first home brew useing tooheys draught i seen a video on the net showing how to make a cheep fermenter useing a bucket hose and jar so i was of to the hardware and made my own fermenter i cut a hole in the lid for the hose airtight i ran the hose from the lid into a jar half filled of water im a bit worried because i heard that durring fermenting the water in the jar should make a bubbleing sound but mine just has heaps of little bubbles in the jar is that normal is something wrong ?

After 3 days the yeast should have started fermenting.

When you push down on the lid of the bucket you should hear/see bubbles in the jar. This will tell you that the hose is airtight into the lid.

What temperature is the room that the bucket is in?

Need a bit more information, bottle0. Can you describe your full brewing process?
