When I look up Brewery websites for beers that I like to drink, a lot of them list all the ingredients used to make that beer which is very helpful. I'm able to get the grain bill, hops, IBUs, Abv, and sometimes even color.
A lot will also list their OG and FG readings but there always different then anything I've ever seen. For example our numbers look like: 1.048, 1.060 - their number are like 12.6, 13.4 with FG readings like 2.2.
I assume the numbers are just different and much higher due to the fact that they're brewing much larger amounts for distribution purposes but I am wondering if there is a way to convert such numbers to help formulate clone recipes more accurately?
