I boiled too hard on my last batch and ended up with 4.5g of 1.080 wort when I was aiming for 5g of 1.065. I added 1/2 g of distilled water and did not check OG. Is there a way to calculate what my OG would have been after that addtion of distilled? I wanna say my pre-boil number was in line. That brewday wasn't as smooth as normal. Thanks for any help.

Yes, it's very simple. The amount of sugars, which is what increases the gravity, remains the same whether you add or remove water.
The simple calc is something called "gravity points." First time I saw this concept was in Ray Daniels' Designing Great Beers.
Basically, multiply the volume you have by the gravity number after the 1. In your case that's 4.5 x 80 = 360 gravity points. That's a measure of the stuff that's in the wort, and doesn't change as you add or remove water.
You diluted that to 5 gal, so it's 360/5 = 72. So your actual og was 1.072 (give or take, allowing for some measurement error).
