Is my scoby moldy?

This is my first time brewing kombucha and I was unsure if my scoby was going moldy. There is a greenish brown colored blob that has appeared and it seems to be under the new scoby that is forming. Just wondering if anyone could tell me if they think it is mold.

Those thingies are very normal in kombucha. They're some sort of yeast.
 
Agree, looks like yeast sludge. You can remove it or leave it there, won't hurt it either way.

Molds will be fuzzy, and on top of everything else.
