All my ete's have been carbed so far, so choice!

Last regular Saison was a few months back. Currently we got Chocolat, Coffee Ruby, Dalmation and Prietemps.
California sucks. Need a gopickitup? Happy to oblige if so.
Same here! Monument wine has several others right now too, like Pissenlit, Ete, De Noel, and some others I think. They're all dusty as **** though.

Avoid IMO. Sister store Jacksons has the band aid gusher bottles, not seen any updates.

But, not sure I would set foot in either store anymore.

Cracked a bottle of Saison tonight ("Sur Lie" label). Not that it means anything, but it is a "d N 16" bottling.

The last bottle I opened several months ago was almost flat, ropey, and extremely phenolic. This bottle is much better. Carbonated, dry, and a bit of funk coming through.

Only complaint is that it has a bit of that medicinal bitterness in the back end that recent bottles of Printemps and La Dalmatienne have had. Still a solid bottle though.

by this time next week I will be in florida. fingers crossed both bottle shops i visited last time still have tomes turding up the shelves

I just cant wrap my head around this...
There are so many advertised spice additions and I have no baseline of knowing what any of them are contributing to the beer if anything.

It smells like a very clean and typical saison with defined yeastiness and fruity pear/apple skin character and a hint of citrus. The taste is super dry and pithy like some zest and pulp of some bitter fruit is added. The finish is a little grassy and has slight yeasty phenolic character leaning towards black peppercorns.

Its not tart.
Its not funky.
Its not Fantome as I know and love it...but I kinda like it.

This is very much like a belgian ipa of sorts but not overly bitter.

How are these tomes drinking?

Before I pull the trigger on these and 10/31/13 3F.

I'd disagree and grab the Dalmatienne. As long as latest batch.Thought it was great.
The Printemps was also fantastic, but a gusher.
Never had a bad Brise-BonsBons yet.

If you leave the 3f on the shelf you are an idiot.

Fresh off etre with BB 2018 on the side. Its not the majestic fresh herb garden overkill that prior batch(es) were... so thats a plus that Dany toned this one down a bit. Its got some citrus and pulpy bitterness going on with a clean yeastiness. No funk and young tasting but otherwise solid and poundable.

Makes we want to pull the Printemps trigger again. I bought a few bottles from 13 (I think) that were like some sort of homoerotic rosemary beating. I knew I shouldn't like it, but it made me feel funny. Only capped bottles I've ever had launch the cork.

Wha? cork launch? I've got many of the last few years and none have done that. Interested in the new 15 one though.

oh look at me tome drunk on a wednesday

this is also an etre freshy with BB2018. severely lacking in carb but not ete lacking in carb as a few months ago. its like...clove banana strawberry juice. this is a very fresh bottle and by all means with some age this has the 'potential' to be one of those life alteringly amazing bottlings.
